・Geography Experience Program for Junior and Senior High School Students “Let’s Analyze Landforms and Disaster Information Using the Latest Digital Mapping Technologies!” (Project Leader: Prof. Takashi Oguchi)

We are planning a hands-on program for junior and senior high school students to explore digital maps and related technologies.

・Summer School 2026 (Collaborative Research Organization for the Digital Spatial Society)
August 6 (Thu) – 8 (Sat), 2026
This program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, aiming to equip participants with skills in spatial data analysis and interpretation.
Registration is scheduled to begin around mid-June.

・UTokyo Kashiwa Open Campus
October 23 (Fri) – 24 (Sat), 2026
This is an event held at the University of Tokyo’s Kashiwa Campus.
Last year, CSIS presented a wide range of interactive demonstrations, including mini drone piloting, VR experiences, spatial displays, and a drone flight simulator. We also showed research posters, projection mapping on a 3D city model and terrain models. A quiz-rally — where visitors walked around the venue and solved quizzes at different spots — was hosted as well.

This is our annual research conference. Research presentations are given not only by
researchers collaborating with our center on joint research projects but also by those participating through an open call for presentations unrelated to joint research.
Abstract submissions will open in July.

- 柏キャンパス一般公開
2026年10月23日(金)～24日(土)
東京大学柏キャンパスのイベントです。昨年は、CSISではミニドローン操縦、VR、空間再現ディスプレイ、ドローンシミュレーターなどの体験型展示に加え、研究紹介ポスター、3D都市模型へのプロジェクションマッピング、地形の模型などの展示、さらにクイズラリーも実施しました。
