On March 8, the final lecture, titled “From Urban Analysis to Housing Policy and Planning,” by Prof. Yasushi Asami (School of Engineering) was held at Yasuda Auditorium, the University of Tokyo. Prof. Asami served as the third director of our center from FY2010 to FY2013 and played a key role in obtaining accreditation as Joint Usage / Research Center (for Spatial Information Science) from MEXT and launching the “JoRAS (Joint Research Assist System)”. The lecture and the post-lecture gathering were well attended by many people who had worked with or been connected to him. It was a truly memorable event, warmly attended by many.

3月8日、東京大学安田講堂にて、浅見泰司教授（工学系研究科）の最終講義が行われました。浅見先生には、CSIS三代目センター長（FY2010-2013）として、共同利用・共同研究拠点（空間情報科学研究拠点）の認定やそれに伴う共同研究利用システムJoRASの開始等に大変尽力頂きました。最終講義には浅見先生にご縁のあった多くの方々が集まり、講義後の懇談会も含め、大変盛況な会となりました。
