On October 17, the Workshop on Ubiquitous Computing, focusing on ubiquitous computing and the use of spatial data, was held at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki. The workshop was organized based on the international agreement concluded last year.

From our Center, four members—including Prof. Kaoru Sezaki and Assoc. Prof. Yuuki Nishiyama—participated, while 16 participants joined from the University of Helsinki. The workshop featured research presentations covering a wide range of topics, including Digital Twin, underwater sensing, and  6G network research, followed by lively and fruitful discussions.

10月17日、ヘルシンキ大学理学部コンピュータサイエンス学科にて、ユビキタスコンピューティングと空間データ利用に関するワークショップ「Workshop on Ubiquitous Computing」が開催されました。本ワークショップは、昨年度締結した国際協定に基づいて実施されたもので、CSISからは瀬崎薫教授、西山勇毅准教授を含む4名が参加し、ヘルシンキ大学からは16名が参加しました。ワークショップでは、最新のデジタルツインや水中センシング、6Gネットワークの研究など幅広い分野の研究発表が行われ、活発な議論が交わされました。
