We are pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Dr. Iizuka from our Center received the Best Paper Award at the 2nd Geogames Symposium: Connecting Communities through Games and Play, held in Dublin, Ireland on June 9–10.
The award-winning paper, titled “Avatar Movement as Learning Data: Quantifying Immersive Geography Fieldwork in the Metaverse,” explores innovative ways to assess geographical fieldwork through avatar activity in virtual environments.

6月9-10日にアイルランド・ダブリンで開催された2nd Geogames Symposium: Connecting Communities through Games and Playにて、当センターの飯塚先生がベストペーパー賞を受賞されました。受賞対象論文は”Avatar Movement as Learning Data: Quantifying Immersive Geography Fieldwork in the Metaverse”で、仮想環境におけるアバターの活動を通して地理フィールドワークを評価する革新的な方法を探求したものです。
