We’re excited to announce the availability of a new dataset: Real Estate Registration Ledger (Tokyo, Jan–Dec 2024).
At the Center for Spatial Information Science (CSIS), the Joint Usage / Research Center and Spatial Data Infrastructure “JoRAS” provides high-quality spatial data for researchers, promoting academic research both domestically and internationally.
The Real Estate Registration Ledger contains monthly administrative records of land registry updates, offering insights into property ownership and transfer trends in Tokyo. Normally, accessing this information requires in-person requests at the Legal Affairs Bureau, one property at a time—but now, it’s available in CSV format for easy use in research.
It’s a valuable resource for studies in urban, regional, and economic fields.

不動産登記受付帳とは土地登記簿の変更情報が月単位で保存された行政台帳で、不動産の所有者やその移転状況を読み取ることができます。データ取得には、通常、法務局に来訪し、不動産1件ごとの閲覧申請・取得をする必要がありますが、このデータはCSV形式で提供されており、都市・地域・経済分野の研究に大変有用であると思われます。
