5. 優れた外国人研究者の受入や国際的な連携等を促進するための取組状況
外国人客員教員の制度を用いて、積極的に外国人研究者を受け入れている。国際機関とのMOUを結び、研究交流を促進している。当センターで研究発表したいという外国人研究者を積極的に招いてセミナーを開催している。浅見教授は、韓国のGIS関連の学会であるKAGISの大会に参加し、基調講演を行い、今後の交流について議論した。
